2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (6 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
16 large marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt.
- Stir constantly and bring to a rolling boil.
- Add chocolate chips and marshmallows, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and chopped pecans.
- Pour mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Let the fudge cool at room temperature until firm, or refrigerate to speed up setting.
- Cut into squares and serve.
