One-Pan Sweet and Smoky Garlic Chicken Pasta is a comforting, flavorful dish packed with tender chicken, rich garlic-infused sauce, and pasta that soaks in every bit of sweetness and smokiness. It’s an ideal weeknight dinner that feels indulgent but comes together quickly with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized strips
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp sesame oil (optional)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup honey (or brown sugar)
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
8 oz linguine or spaghetti, cooked and drained
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil (and sesame oil, if using) in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, honey, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the pan and mix well.
- Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and extra black pepper. Serve warm.
