Description

One-Pan Sweet and Smoky Garlic Chicken Pasta is a comforting, flavorful dish packed with tender chicken, rich garlic-infused sauce, and pasta that soaks in every bit of sweetness and smokiness. It’s an ideal weeknight dinner that feels indulgent but comes together quickly with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale

2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized strips

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp sesame oil (optional)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup honey (or brown sugar)

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

8 oz linguine or spaghetti, cooked and drained

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil (and sesame oil, if using) in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add soy sauce, honey, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Return chicken to the pan and mix well.
  7. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and extra black pepper. Serve warm.
