Description
Golden, crispy fries tossed in aromatic truffle oil and showered with freshly grated Parmesan and parsley—these Crispy Parmesan Truffle Fries are the perfect gourmet upgrade to your favorite side dish. Serve them hot with dipping sauces or enjoy as a decadent snack!
Ingredients
4 large russet potatoes (or 1 bag frozen fries)
2 tablespoons truffle oil
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil (if baking fresh potatoes)
Instructions
1. Peel (optional) and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries or wedges. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
2. Drain and pat the fries completely dry with a clean towel.
3. Toss fries in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
4. Spread fries in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet (or air fryer basket).
5. Bake at 425°F (or air fry at 400°F) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
6. Once crispy and golden, drizzle with truffle oil and toss gently to coat.
7. Top immediately with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley.
8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy as-is.
Notes
Be sure to dry your fries thoroughly after soaking—they won’t crisp up otherwise.
Don’t go heavy on truffle oil; it’s very potent and a little goes a long way.
Freshly grated Parmesan melts better and tastes far superior to pre-grated.
