Description

Cream Cheese Wrapped Olives are the perfect party snack—creamy, tangy, salty, and just the right size to pop in your mouth. Each bite wraps a briny green olive inside a seasoned cream cheese coating, optionally rolled in something crunchy for texture. Perfect for holidays, grazing boards, and retro snack fans!

Ingredients

Scale

113 grams (4 oz) cream cheese, softened

20 green olives, pitted

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1/3 cup chopped nuts or crushed rice crackers (optional, for coating)

Instructions

1. Drain and pat the green olives dry using paper towels.

2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with garlic powder and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).

3. Scoop about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture, flatten it slightly, and wrap it around a single olive until fully enclosed.

4. Roll the wrapped olive in crushed rice crackers or chopped nuts if desired.

5. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for best molding and flavor.

Be sure to dry the olives thoroughly to avoid a soggy coating.

These can be made a day ahead—just store them covered in the fridge.
