Ingredients
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 blocks (16 ounces total) cream cheese
1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped parsley or green onions (optional)
Cooked pasta, rice, or sandwich buns for serving
Instructions
1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a Crock Pot.
2. Top with cubed cream cheese and sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the top.
3. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
4. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the Crock Pot using two forks.
5. Add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon; stir until well combined.
6. Serve warm over pasta, rice, or inside buns. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.
Notes
Make sure to shred the chicken only once fully cooked and tender for the best texture.
For extra creaminess, stir in a splash of milk or chicken broth after shredding.
If using frozen chicken, increase cook time and ensure internal temp reaches 165°F.
