Perfect for party desserts, holiday baking, sweet snack ideas, and easy recipe lovers, these bars are one of those food ideas everyone asks for again.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, mix 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until combined.

3. Press the crust mixture evenly into the prepared pan.

4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove it from the oven.

5. In another bowl, beat 8 ounces cream cheese with 1/2 cup granulated sugar until smooth.

6. Add 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, then mix until creamy.

7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the warm crust.

8. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips with 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk in short intervals, stirring until smooth.

9. Spread the chocolate mixture gently over the cream cheese layer.

10. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut evenly over the top.

11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the center is set and the coconut is lightly golden.

12. Cool completely, then chill for at least 3 hours before slicing into bars.

Notes

Chill the bars fully before slicing for clean layers.

Use softened cream cheese to avoid lumps in the filling.

Watch the coconut near the end of baking so it turns golden without burning.
