Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook until golden and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes per side. Slice into strips.
3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
7. Top with sliced chicken, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce and best flavor.
Do not boil the sauce after adding cheese to avoid separation.
Slice chicken after resting for a few minutes to keep it juicy.
