Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts, cut into strips or bite-sized chunks
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 cups cooked penne pasta
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon butter (optional)
Fresh chopped parsley or basil (optional)
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté briefly. Stir in Dijon mustard, honey, and soy sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet and coat in sauce. Add pasta and stir until well combined.
- Stir in butter for extra creaminess, if using.
- Garnish with parsley or basil. Serve warm.
