Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, cut into strips or bite-sized chunks

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

2 cups cooked penne pasta

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

3 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Fresh chopped parsley or basil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté briefly. Stir in Dijon mustard, honey, and soy sauce. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and coat in sauce. Add pasta and stir until well combined.
  6. Stir in butter for extra creaminess, if using.
  7. Garnish with parsley or basil. Serve warm.
