Ingredients
2 8-inch round vanilla cake layers
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup powdered sugar

15 Oreo cookies, crushed
4 ounces cream cheese (optional, softened)
Instructions
1. Bake the cake layers according to your vanilla cake recipe or box instructions. Let them cool completely.
2. In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Add softened cream cheese if using, and beat until smooth.
3. Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries. Pat them dry to remove moisture.
4. Crush the Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag using a rolling pin. Leave some chunks for texture.
5. Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread whipped cream over the top, sprinkle with crushed Oreos, and layer sliced strawberries.
