Description

Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta combines caramelized sausage slices with a sticky, sweet-savory honey garlic glaze tossed into buttery noodles. It’s the perfect quick-fix weeknight dinner that doesn’t skimp on flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

14 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds

2 tablespoons honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons butter

8 oz bucatini or spaghetti pasta

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Sear the Sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add sliced sausage and sear until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Glaze: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, and chili flakes. Simmer until it becomes a sticky glaze.
  4. Combine: Return sausage to the skillet, then toss in the cooked pasta. Add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  5. Garnish: Stir in parsley and Parmesan. Serve hot with extra chili flakes if desired.
