Description
Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta is a quick and comforting dish packed with sweet, savory, and garlicky flavors. Juicy sausage slices are tossed with spaghetti in a glossy honey garlic sauce, finished with fresh parsley and Parmesan for a dinner that’s as easy as it is irresistible.
Ingredients
400 g spaghetti
300 g smoked sausage (like kielbasa or Italian sausage)
3 tablespoons honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 0.5 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Slice sausage into rounds. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, brown sausage slices 5-7 minutes until crisp. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté minced garlic 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes. Let simmer 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Return sausage to skillet, add cooked spaghetti, toss to coat. Add a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen sauce.
5. Turn off heat, sprinkle parsley and Parmesan. Toss again and serve with extra Parmesan.
Notes
For extra creaminess, stir in 2 tablespoons of cream cheese at the end.
You can use linguine, fettuccine, or even penne instead of spaghetti.
Add chili oil or lemon zest before serving for an extra flavor kick.
