Ingredients
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups marshmallow fluff
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips or chopped bars
1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional for topping)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until smooth.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
6. Press two-thirds of the dough into the bottom of the baking dish evenly.
7. Spread marshmallow fluff gently over the dough.
8. Layer chocolate chips or bar pieces over the marshmallow fluff.
9. Flatten remaining dough pieces and patch them over the top. It’s fine if some marshmallow peeks through.
10. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and extra chocolate chips over the top if desired.
11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and edges are set.
12. Cool completely before lifting from the pan and slicing into squares.
Notes
Let the bars cool completely before slicing to ensure clean edges.
For a gooier texture, microwave a slice for 10 seconds before serving.
