Description
This Simple Asian Ground Beef Noodles recipe is a fast, flavorful dinner that brings together savory beef, chewy noodles, and a glossy, umami-rich sauce. Perfect for weeknights or meal prep, it’s packed with bold taste and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
8 ounces ramen or lo mein noodles
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (optional)
Instructions
1. Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with a bit of sesame oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Break it up and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
4. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
5. Toss in diced carrots and green onions. Cook another 2 minutes until carrots are just tender.
6. Add noodles back into the skillet. Toss everything together to coat evenly.
7. Serve hot with optional sesame seeds and chopped cilantro.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce if you prefer a lighter salt profile.
Want it spicy? Add chili garlic sauce or crushed red pepper flakes to taste.
Fresh noodles work great but instant ramen bricks also do the job.
