Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 red bell pepper, diced
2 green onions, chopped
2 cups cooked jasmine rice
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes or 1 sliced jalapeño (optional)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
3. Stir in soy sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes to absorb flavor.
4. Add diced bell pepper and cook until just tender, about 3 minutes. Add green onions in the last minute of cooking.
5. Serve over cooked jasmine rice. Garnish with sesame seeds, jalapeños or red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
Use 93% lean ground turkey for the best balance of flavor and moisture.
Add a splash of broth when reheating to prevent the meat from drying out.
Customize your veggies—snap peas, mushrooms, or spinach work great too!
