Description
A bold and creamy pasta dish that combines tender chicken, jalapeño heat, and a luscious Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for spicing up weeknight dinners or impressing your guests with restaurant-style flavor.
Ingredients
340g penne pasta
500g chicken breasts or thighs, sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, sauté until cooked, then remove.
3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, simmer gently, then whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
4. Stir in sliced jalapeños, adjust to taste. Return chicken to skillet and coat in sauce.
5. Toss in pasta, adding reserved water as needed. Adjust seasoning.
6. Serve topped with extra jalapeños, Parmesan, black pepper, and optional diced tomatoes.
Notes
For milder heat, remove jalapeño seeds and membranes.
Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce thickens too much.
Use fresh Parmesan for the best creamy texture.
