Description

Raspberry Lemon Chia Seed Water is a refreshing, nutrient-rich drink that combines tart raspberries, bright lemon juice, and hydrating chia seeds. It’s perfect for keeping cool, aiding digestion, and boosting your daily hydration with a flavorful twist.

Ingredients

Scale

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 cup filtered water

1/2 cup fresh raspberries

1/2 lemon, juiced

1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

1. In a mason jar, add chia seeds to the filtered water. Stir well and let sit for at least 10–30 minutes, or overnight for best texture.

2. In a small bowl, mash the raspberries gently with a fork to release their juices.

3. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the raspberry mixture or directly into the jar.

4. Combine the muddled raspberries and lemon juice with the soaked chia water. Stir thoroughly.

5. Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.

6. Taste and stir in sweetener if desired. Shake or stir before serving as chia may settle.

Notes

For a smoother texture, strain the raspberries before adding them to the drink.

You can substitute lime for lemon for a different citrus twist.

Always stir before drinking as the chia seeds settle after refrigeration.
