Description

Quick Toffee Candied Walnuts are the perfect combination of sweet, buttery crunch and rich nutty flavor—all made in under 15 minutes. Ideal for holiday gifts, salad toppers, or an everyday indulgent snack.


Ingredients

2 cups walnut halves

1 cup granulated sugar

4 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)


Instructions

1. Measure and prepare all ingredients ahead of time.

2. In a large nonstick skillet, melt sugar and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly.

3. When the mixture turns golden and bubbly, stir in the walnuts and coat evenly.

4. Continue stirring for 2–3 minutes until the syrup thickens and clings to the nuts.

5. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, salt, and optional cinnamon.

6. Spread the mixture on parchment paper to cool, separating the nuts.

7. Allow to cool completely for 15 minutes before serving or storing.


Notes

Stir continuously while cooking to avoid burning the sugar.

Use a nonstick skillet for easier cleanup and even coating.
