These Pizza Burritos are a genius twist on classic pizza, wrapped up burrito-style for ultimate grab-and-go convenience. With melted mozzarella, pepperoni, zesty sauce, and a golden crust, they’re perfect for parties, weeknight dinners, or meal prep.
Ingredients
1 can pizza dough (refrigerated)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
20 slices pepperoni
1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons melted butter
Optional: 1/4 cup chopped mushrooms, 1/4 cup sliced olives, 1/4 cup diced bell peppers, 1 tablespoon chopped jalapeños
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface and cut into 6×8 inch sections.
3. Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce in the center of each piece of dough.
4. Add a generous pinch of mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni on top.
5. Fold the sides in, roll the dough into a burrito shape, and pinch the edges to seal.
6. Place each burrito seam-side down on the baking sheet.
7. Brush tops with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
8. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and bubbling. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make sure not to overfill the dough to avoid leakage during baking.
For a crispier crust, bake on a pizza stone or preheated sheet.
Let burritos cool for 5 minutes before cutting to allow the cheese to set slightly.
