Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
1 cup chopped or halved pecans
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 tablespoon bourbon
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, salt, and optional cinnamon or bourbon.
3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Pinch seams if needed.
4. Place a spoonful of filling on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up tightly into crescent shape.
5. Arrange rolls on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Optional: Drizzle any extra filling over the tops while warm or add powdered sugar glaze.
8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Avoid overfilling the dough to prevent leakage during baking.
Bake seam-side down to help keep the filling secure.
For extra crunch and shine, reserve some filling to spoon over the rolls once they come out of the oven.
