Description
This rich, spicy, creamy pasta dish combines seared steak bites with rotini noodles and a garlic butter cream sauce—all made in a single pot. It’s cozy, quick to cook, and layered with flavor, making it perfect for weeknight dinners with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 cups rotini pasta
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
2 cups beef broth
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper, sear until golden-brown. Remove and set aside.
2. Lower heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the same pan and cook until fragrant.
3. Stir in heavy cream, beef broth, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan. Simmer until slightly thickened.
4. Add uncooked rotini to the sauce. Cook uncovered for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
5. Return steak and juices to the pot. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes more.
6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and meltability.
Let the sauce simmer long enough for it to thicken—don’t rush it.
If reheating, add a splash of cream or broth to keep the sauce smooth.
