Ingredients

Scale

2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

8 oz linguine or spaghetti, cooked and drained

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon honey

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon rice vinegar (optional)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish

Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain, toss with a bit of sesame oil, and set aside.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add chicken and sear for 2–3 minutes until golden. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 4–5 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Push chicken aside and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, smoked paprika, black pepper, and rice vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Mix Pasta and Sauce: Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss thoroughly to coat in sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
  5. Finish and Serve: Turn off the heat. Drizzle with sesame oil, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve hot.
