This No Boil Lasagna is an easy, cozy, and flavor-packed dish layered with hearty meat sauce, creamy ricotta, and melty cheeses. Skip the boiling step with oven-ready noodles and bake your way to dinner perfection—ideal for busy weeknights, family gatherings, or make-ahead meals.
Ingredients
9 oven-ready lasagna noodles
1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
3 cups marinara sauce
1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
1 large egg
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or sausage. Drain excess fat, then season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir in the marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, ¼ cup Parmesan, and a pinch of Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth.
3. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce. Place 3 oven-ready noodles on top. Spread ⅓ of the ricotta mixture over noodles, sprinkle mozzarella, and add another layer of sauce. Repeat layers two more times.
4. Finish with remaining sauce, then top with mozzarella and the rest of the Parmesan.
5. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
6. Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Let the lasagna rest before slicing to help the layers set and prevent sliding.
Use a thick marinara sauce to avoid excess moisture.
For extra depth, mix sausage and beef or add chopped mushrooms to the meat sauce.
