Ingredients
6 cups sliced apples (mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Spread evenly in prepared dish.
3. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in melted butter until combined and crumbly.
4. Sprinkle the topping evenly over apples and press down gently.
5. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
