Description

A golden-crusted chicken breast served with rich garlic butter sauce, inspired by the famous Morton’s Steakhouse Chicken Christopher. It’s indulgent, elegant, and surprisingly easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Scale

2 large chicken breasts, pounded thin

1 cup Panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each breast in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and coat with Panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Return chicken to skillet briefly or pour sauce over plated chicken.
  7. Serve immediately with sides of choice.
