Description

These Mint Oreo Truffles are rich, minty, and coated in a silky white chocolate shell, finished with a chocolate drizzle and cookie crumbs. With just a few ingredients and zero baking required, they’re perfect for holiday platters, party trays, or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale

24 Mint Oreo cookies

4 oz cream cheese, softened

10 oz white chocolate or vanilla candy melts

2 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate (for drizzle, optional)

2 tbsp crushed Oreo crumbs (for topping)

Instructions

1. Add the mint Oreo cookies to a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs. If you don’t have one, use a zip-top bag and rolling pin.

2. In a large bowl, mix the cookie crumbs with the softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.

3. Use a small scoop or spoon to roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.

4. Chill the truffle balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.

5. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts according to the package directions. Dip each chilled truffle using a fork or dipping tool, letting the excess drip off.

6. Place the dipped truffles back on the tray.

7. Melt the dark or semi-sweet chocolate and drizzle it over the top. Immediately sprinkle crushed Oreo crumbs over each truffle before the coating sets.

8. Let the truffles sit at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate hardens fully. Serve or store as desired.

Notes

Don’t skip chilling – It helps prevent the truffles from falling apart when dipped in warm chocolate.

Use high-quality chocolate – It makes a big difference in the coating’s smoothness and flavor.

Let truffles sit before dipping – If too cold, they may crack the chocolate shell. Let them rest at room temp for 5 minutes before dipping.
