6 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil leaves (about 1/4 cup, loosely packed)

Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or steel inside if available.
- Stretch dough into a 10-12 inch round on floured surface; transfer to parchment or baking sheet.
- Add thin tomato slices or spoon crushed tomatoes evenly over the dough.
- Tear mozzarella and scatter across the top, leaving space between pieces.
