Description
Lazy Lasagna is the ultimate weeknight dinner solution—bringing all the cozy comfort of classic lasagna without the time-consuming layering or pre-cooking. With hearty meat sauce, creamy ricotta, and gooey melted cheese, it’s a family-favorite baked pasta dish made in one pan with minimal prep.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
24 ounces marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
8 ounces oven-ready pasta (penne or rotini)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes.
4. Mix in ricotta cheese until fully combined and creamy.
5. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine uncooked pasta with the meat and ricotta mixture. Stir to coat pasta evenly.
6. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan over the top.
7. Cover dish with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes.
8. Remove foil and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
9. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Let the lasagna rest after baking so the cheese sets and the pasta finishes absorbing the sauce.
Use oven-ready pasta only—regular pasta won’t cook properly in the oven.
Swap in ground turkey or plant-based meat for a leaner or vegetarian version.
