Description

Celebrate springtime with these adorable Krispies Easter Egg Nests! Gooey marshmallow cereal shaped into nests, filled with candy eggs, makes them the perfect no-bake Easter treat. Kids and adults alike will love them at brunch, parties, or as a fun afternoon project.

Ingredients

Scale

4 tablespoons butter

5 cups mini marshmallows

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup candy eggs (mini chocolate eggs or jellybeans)

cooking spray or extra butter (for greasing)

Instructions

1. Melt the butter over low heat in a large saucepan.

2. Add mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth; remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

3. Gently fold in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.

4. Grease a muffin tin or your hands; spoon the mixture into cups and press centers to shape nests.

5. Let cool for 10–15 minutes.

6. Remove nests and fill with candy eggs.

7. Arrange on a platter and enjoy or store for later.

Notes

Grease hands well to shape nests easily.

Swap in cocoa Krispies for a chocolate version.

Press gently—don’t crush the cereal when shaping nests.
