Ingredients
1 pound chicken breast
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces fettuccine pasta
1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Season chicken breast with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Set aside to rest.
3. Boil fettuccine in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain.
4. In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add more Cajun seasoning if desired.
5. Add cooked fettuccine to the cream sauce and toss to coat evenly.
6. Slice the chicken and place it over the pasta. Garnish with parsley or parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning and olive oil for 30 minutes before cooking.
Don’t overboil the cream—simmer gently to keep the sauce smooth.
Slice chicken thinly against the grain for the most tender bite.
