2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)

⅓ cup granulated sugar

⅓ cup unsalted butter (melted)

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon salt

¾ cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

⅓ cup unsalted butter (softened, for filling)

6 ounces cream cheese (softened)

1 ½ cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

23 tablespoons milk or heavy cream (for glaze)

½ cup heavy cream (optional, for extra gooeyness)


Instructions

1. Warm the milk and stir in the yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

2. Add melted butter, eggs, remaining sugar, and salt. Stir in flour gradually to form a soft dough.

3. Knead the dough for 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.

5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out dough into a 16×12 inch rectangle.

6. Spread softened butter on dough. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over it evenly.
