Description
This Hot Honey Infused Feta Chicken is the perfect blend of sweet heat and creamy tang. Golden-seared chicken breasts are glazed in a sticky hot honey butter sauce and topped with salty crumbled feta and fresh herbs. It’s fast, flavorful, and ready to elevate any dinner night.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 tablespoons hot honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Let sit for 10–15 minutes at room temperature.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Lower the heat to medium-low. Add butter and hot honey to the skillet, stirring and scraping any browned bits. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning glaze over each piece. Let cook another 2–3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
5. Transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle with extra glaze and sprinkle with crumbled feta and fresh herbs. Serve hot.
Notes
Let the seasoned chicken rest before cooking for best flavor and juiciness.
Use a cast iron skillet for a deeper sear and even cooking.
For more spice, add chili flakes or cayenne into the glaze while simmering.
