These honey garlic ribs are a sticky, savory-sweet sensation. Glazed with a bold, garlicky sauce that caramelizes in the oven, each rib is packed with flavor and fork-tender. Perfect for special dinners, casual gatherings, or weeknight indulgence.

2 racks pork baby back ribs
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water
Chopped green onions, for garnish
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove membrane from ribs, rinse, and pat dry.
- Place ribs on a foil-lined baking tray. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with another piece of foil.
- Bake ribs for 2.5 to 3 hours, until fork-tender.
- While baking, make the sauce: In a saucepan, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water into a slurry. Stir into the sauce and simmer until thick.
- Remove ribs from oven, uncover, and brush generously with sauce.
- Broil or bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10-12 minutes until caramelized.
- Brush with extra sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
