Description

These sticky, crispy Honey Garlic Chicken Tenders are coated in a sweet-and-savory glaze with a touch of spice. Easy to make in one pan, they’re perfect for quick dinners, meal prep, or even party snacks!


Ingredients

1 lb chicken tenders or sliced chicken breasts

1/2 cup cornstarch or all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons oil (for frying)

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon chopped parsley or green onion (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Pat the chicken tenders dry. Coat each piece evenly with cornstarch or flour. Shake off excess.

2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pan-fry the tenders 3–4 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.

3. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

4. Add honey, soy sauce, and chili flakes. Stir and let simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

5. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in the glaze. Cook for 1 minute until well coated.

6. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onion and serve immediately.


Notes

For extra tender chicken, marinate in buttermilk for 30 minutes before cooking.

Don’t overcrowd the skillet — cook in batches if needed.

Let the sauce simmer until it slightly bubbles to help it thicken and stick better.
