Perfect for holidays, gifting, or just indulging, they’re no-bake, easy to prepare, and better than store-bought! With a soft peppermint center and a crisp chocolate shell, they deliver refreshing flavor and nostalgic joy in every bite.
Ingredients
1 ¾ cups powdered sugar
⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 ½ cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (optional)
Sprinkles (optional, for decorating)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint extract. Mix until a thick, dough-like consistency forms.
2. Roll mixture into small balls, then flatten into discs. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
3. Freeze patties for 20–30 minutes until firm.
4. Melt chocolate and coconut oil together in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
5. Dip each chilled patty into melted chocolate, shake off excess, and place back on the parchment.
6. Decorate with sprinkles if desired. Let them set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
Notes
Make sure the peppermint filling is firm before dipping—chilling is key to easy coating.
For a super smooth and shiny chocolate shell, don’t skip the coconut oil.
Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
