Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining ground beef, cabbage, carrots, and a savory garlic-ginger sauce. This dish is low-carb, easy to make, and perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb lean ground beef (90% lean)

1 small head cabbage, chopped

2 medium carrots, julienned

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

3 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Chop cabbage, julienne carrots, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cabbage and carrots; cook 5-7 minutes until cabbage softens but stays slightly crisp.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and drizzle sesame oil; toss to coat.
  6. Remove from heat, top with green onions, and serve hot.
