Description

This comforting pasta dish features golden, seared chicken bites in a rich garlic butter sauce paired with creamy parmesan linguine. Perfect for cozy dinners, date nights, or when you’re craving restaurant-style comfort at home.


Ingredients

1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

8 oz linguine pasta

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Salt, to taste Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks and season generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken pieces until golden brown, about 6–8 minutes.
  4. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same pan.
  6. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  8. Stir in parmesan cheese and continue mixing until sauce thickens, about 3–5 minutes.
  9. Meanwhile, cook linguine according to package directions.
  10. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  11. Add chicken back into the pan with the sauce.
  12. Toss in the cooked linguine and combine everything well.
  13. Add pasta water as needed to adjust sauce thickness.
  14. Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes.
  15. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan—not pre-shredded—for the smoothest sauce.

Chicken thighs offer more flavor and tenderness than breast if you prefer juicier bites.

If reheating, add a splash of cream or milk to loosen the sauce without drying out the pasta.
