1.5 lb steak (sirloin, tenderloin, or ribeye), cut into bite-size pieces
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons oil (avocado, canola, or grapeseed)
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the steak into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear steak bites in batches, 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer briefly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
