Description

A creamy, indulgent pasta dish with golden seared chicken and a rich garlic parmesan sauce. Perfect for a cozy dinner that feels like a treat.


Ingredients

2 chicken breasts or thighs

12 oz fettuccine or linguine

3 tablespoons butter (divided)

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 6-8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Rest, then slice.
  3. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; drain, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.
  4. In skillet, melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic 1 minute. Add cream, simmer, then stir in parmesan until thickened. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Toss pasta with sauce. Top with sliced chicken and garnish with parsley and extra parmesan.
