Description

A one-skillet dinner that combines juicy ground beef, tender rice, and a creamy cheddar parmesan sauce infused with rich garlic butter. This hearty, comforting dish is perfect for busy weeknights when you want something cozy and flavorful with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef

1 cup uncooked white rice (long grain or jasmine)

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons butter (divided)

2 cups beef broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and cook ground beef with salt and pepper until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add remaining butter and garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in uncooked rice and toast for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in beef broth, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15-18 minutes until rice is tender and broth is absorbed.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and gradually add cheddar and parmesan cheeses. Mix until melted and creamy.
  6. Return beef to the skillet and combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.
