Description

Golden, buttery, and bursting with sweet crabmeat, these Famous Crab Bombs are the ultimate seafood indulgence. They deliver a tender inside with a crisp, caramelized top—perfect as an appetizer or main.

Ingredients

Scale

450 g fresh lump crabmeat

3 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional)

3 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

1. Pick through crabmeat to remove shells carefully.

2. Mix crabmeat, mayonnaise, Dijon, Old Bay, and parsley.

3. Add breadcrumbs only if needed to hold shape.

4. Shape into golf ball-sized mounds.

5. Place on parchment-lined sheet and brush with melted butter.

6. Broil 6–8 minutes until golden and crisp.

7. Serve hot with lemon wedges, melted butter, or remoulade.

Notes

Use minimal breadcrumbs to keep the crab flavor pure.

Add lemon zest or cayenne for extra kick.

Serve immediately for the best texture.
