Description

These Eggnog Truffles are rich, spiced, and creamy no-bake treats dipped in silky white chocolate. They’re the perfect holiday indulgence — easy to make and ideal for gifting, sharing, or enjoying with a cozy cup of cocoa.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ cups vanilla wafer cookie crumbs

4 oz cream cheese, softened

3 tbsp eggnog

¾ cup powdered sugar

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

8 oz white chocolate baking bars, melted (for filling)

12 oz white chocolate baking bars, melted (for coating)

Optional: 2 tbsp white chocolate shavings or chopped nuts for garnish

Instructions

1. Add vanilla wafer cookies to a food processor and pulse until finely ground into crumbs.

2. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, eggnog, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.

3. Stir in the cookie crumbs and 8 oz of melted white chocolate. Mix until the dough is thick and holds shape.

4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour until firm enough to roll.

5. Once chilled, roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

6. Freeze the truffle balls for 20–30 minutes to firm them up.

7. Melt 12 oz of white chocolate for coating. Dip each chilled truffle using a fork, letting excess chocolate drip off.

8. Place coated truffles back on the baking sheet and garnish with optional shavings or nuts.

9. Let them set at room temperature or refrigerate until fully firm. Serve chilled.

Notes

Use high-quality white chocolate bars instead of chips for best melting and coating results.

Let the truffles rest for a few minutes after freezing to prevent the chocolate from cracking during dipping.

These freeze well—just thaw in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
