This easy recipe is perfect for anyone looking for quick dinner ideas, comfort food classics, or stress-free food ideas that taste incredible.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb frozen meatballs

2 cups carrots, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

1 small onion, diced

2 cups beef broth

1 packet brown gravy mix

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

4 cups mashed potatoes

Instructions

1. Add the frozen meatballs to a large pot or slow cooker without thawing.

2. Add chopped carrots, celery, and diced onion around the meatballs.

3. Pour in the beef broth and sprinkle the brown gravy mix evenly.

4. Add minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce, then gently stir to combine.

5. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours in a slow cooker, or simmer on the stovetop for 45–60 minutes.

6. Stir occasionally until the sauce thickens and vegetables are tender.

7. Prepare mashed potatoes separately while the meatballs cook.

8. Serve the meatballs and gravy over mashed potatoes and enjoy warm.

Notes

Use homestyle or Italian-style frozen meatballs depending on your flavor preference.

For a thicker gravy, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and stir in at the end.

Add potatoes directly into the pot if you want a one-pot version instead of serving with mashed potatoes.
