Description

1 box yellow cake mix

1 cup sour cream

3 large eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup brown sugar (for filling and topping)

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine yellow cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.

3. In a separate small bowl, stir together brown sugar and cinnamon.

4. Pour half the cake batter into the pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over it. Add the rest of the batter and smooth it out.

5. For the crumb topping, combine the remaining brown sugar and cinnamon with flour and cold butter. Use a pastry cutter or fork to make coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the top.

6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. Let the cake cool slightly.

8. Whisk powdered sugar and milk together to form a smooth glaze. Drizzle over the cooled cake.
