These crispy caramel apple wontons are the ultimate air fryer dessert. Filled with cinnamon-spiced apples and gooey caramel, then topped with powdered sugar and whipped cream, they deliver comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

Wonton wrappers

1 apple (peeled and finely diced)

2 tablespoons caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon butter

Powdered sugar for dusting

Whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the apple filling: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir and cook until apples are tender and coated. Let cool.
  2. Assemble wontons: Lay out wrappers. Add a spoonful of apple filling and drizzle of caramel. Moisten edges with water and fold into triangles or pouches. Seal tightly.
  3. Air fry: Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly oil wontons and place in a single layer. Cook for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
