Description

This Decadent Hot Fudge Pie delivers rich, molten chocolate perfection inside a flaky crust. It’s the perfect indulgence for any occasion—simple to make, yet impressive to serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

⅛ teaspoon salt

1 9-inch pie crust (prebaked)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips with butter, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and cool slightly.

3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.

4. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture until fully blended.

5. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined.

6. Pour the batter into the prebaked pie crust and smooth the top.

7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the top looks crackly and the center is slightly set but still soft.

8. Cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

For a gooier center, remove from the oven when the middle still jiggles slightly.

Use high-quality chocolate chips for the richest flavor.

This pie reheats beautifully in the microwave—just 15 seconds brings it back to fudgy perfection.
