Description
This Decadent Brownie Refrigerator Cake is a no-bake dream stacked with fudgy brownie, fluffy whipped topping, silky chocolate pudding, crunchy toffee bits, and luscious ganache. It’s an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert made for make-ahead magic.
Ingredients
1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients to prepare) or homemade equivalent
2 cups whipped topping
1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups cold milk (for pudding)
1 cup toffee bits or crushed candy bars
1 cup chocolate ganache or hot fudge sauce
1 cup chopped chocolate chunks
Instructions
1. Bake brownies according to box or recipe instructions. Let them cool completely in a 9×13-inch pan.
2. Spread 1 cup whipped topping evenly over the cooled brownie layer.
3. In a separate bowl, prepare the pudding by mixing the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken, then spread it over the whipped topping layer.
4. Sprinkle the toffee bits or crushed candy bars evenly over the pudding layer.
5. Spread the remaining 1 cup of whipped topping over the candy layer.
6. Warm the ganache or fudge slightly and drizzle over the top.
7. Finish with chopped chocolate chunks.
8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before slicing and serving.
Notes
Let the brownies cool completely before layering to avoid melting the whipped topping.
Use a hot knife for clean slices (run under hot water and wipe dry between cuts).
Homemade whipped cream can be used—stabilize with powdered sugar or gelatin for storage.
