Description
This Crock Pot Hot Chocolate is everything you want on a cozy winter day—rich, creamy, and irresistibly chocolatey. Made with real chocolate and simple ingredients, it’s the perfect slow-cooked treat for gatherings, holidays, or anytime you want a warm mug of comfort.
Ingredients
6 cups whole milk
2 cups heavy cream
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
mini marshmallows or whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
1. Pour the whole milk, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk into the crock pot. Whisk gently to combine.
2. Stir in the chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Make sure the chocolate is submerged.
3. Set crock pot to LOW and cook for 2 hours. Stir occasionally to help the chocolate melt smoothly.
4. After 2 hours, whisk the mixture well until velvety smooth.
5. Ladle into mugs and serve with marshmallows, whipped cream, or your favorite toppings.
Notes
Stir a few times during cooking to ensure even melting.
For extra depth, use a combination of milk and semi-sweet chocolate.
Reheat leftovers gently with a splash of milk to restore the creamy texture.
