1 package fresh or refrigerated cheese or mushroom ravioli
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 oz mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with olive oil.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
- Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese and mix until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Cook ravioli according to package directions, then drain.
- Add ravioli to the mushroom cream sauce and gently toss to coat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and additional parmesan if desired.
