12 oz rigatoni pasta
1 lb lean ground beef
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add butter to the skillet and melt. Stir in garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir, and let simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
- Return beef to skillet. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Toss in cooked rigatoni and combine well.
- Transfer to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
