Ingredients

12 oz rigatoni pasta

1 lb lean ground beef

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add butter to the skillet and melt. Stir in garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, stir, and let simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  6. Return beef to skillet. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Toss in cooked rigatoni and combine well.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
