Description

A bold and creamy pasta dish that brings together succulent shrimp, rich Cajun-spiced sauce, and perfectly cooked noodles. Perfect for a cozy date night or an easy weeknight indulgence.

Ingredients

Shrimp (large, peeled, and deveined)

Fettuccine or linguine

Heavy cream

Parmesan cheese

Butter

Garlic (minced)

Cajun seasoning

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the Shrimp: Toss shrimp in Cajun seasoning until fully coated.
  2. Sear the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Cook shrimp 2-3 minutes per side until pink and lightly charred. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Pasta: Boil pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain.
  4. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and cook garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Make the Sauce: Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan and additional Cajun seasoning. Whisk until smooth. Add pasta water if needed.
  6. Combine: Add pasta to sauce and toss to coat. Fold in shrimp. Heat for another 1-2 minutes.
  7. Garnish & Serve: Top with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately.
